-Its come to my notice that 12 major Healthcare companies including CIGNA,AETNA,BCBS LA,BCBS MO,BCBS AK have outsourced nearly 5000 jobs to IT companies from INDIA in last few months worth $2.5 bill. These outsourcing deals will throw out at least 10,000 Americans.
-Many IT Companies from INDIA again work for Large Financial services like State Farm, Hartford,AIG,NEWYORK LIFE & employ more than 7500 IT workers on L1 Visa at USA, which is illegal. There are more than 15,000 IT guys in their country to work for these US companies. Its not all. These goddamn companies pay not even $10k for their workers annually.
What the f***k is done.....

When they increased the quota to 200K/Yr in 2000 over the next year we had about 1 million H1B Workers here. Assuming they worked 2000/Hr/Yr at an average rate of $50/Hr in the cost to the firms. This is about 2 Billion Man Hours in On the Job Training and about $100 Billion is Labor Hours spent. With a GDP of $10 Tillion per year this is 0.1% of the entire GPD of the USA for a year. Each H1B generates $700/Per or $700 Million for education of Americans. In looking at this in economic terms the American Labor is given $700 for each $100K invested in the foreign labor force. This is a 0.7% Investment in the American labor for compared to the investment in the foreign labor force. Given the for example in India a top college costs $2-4K for a degree compared to a US school costing $40-150K. If these workers were Americans this would be a Million jobs in the range of 60-150K/Year. If they were investing in Housing this could yield an average home costing about $200K/Worker x 1Mil workers = $200 Billion or up to 0.2% of the GDP not invested into American Housing! When on figures in the additional costs to the communities infrastrure such as schools etc. easily add another $10K per H1B Worker which is paid for by the people in the local communities this yields $10 Billion more to this costs which are born by the American communities who have already lost from the disinvestment by the firms not using the local labor force. The US H1B visa policies are a dramtic disinvestment in the American labor force for the sake of a few Anderson/Enron like Cronies to make a fast buck. When one figures the cost of this disinvestment impact to American Communities it is all but too obvious that we are selling out the American Communities, Education and investment into local American High Tech Small business for quck buck by a few while selling out the future of the majority.
