HiB is a small drop in an otherwise large issue of illegal immigration and abuse of visa for the purpose other than intended. The INS is to solely blame for this. Everyone knows that the U.S issues many educational and tourist visas. And it is a very well known fact that more than 90% of students after studies stay back and look for work. Other countries like Australia have a rule wherein a FOREIGN STUDENT after completing his studies is mandatorily required to go back to his countrry of origin and then apply for work through normal channels from the parent country if intersted in working. Even Germany follows this method. Everyone knows that even the 6 month tourist visa is open for abuse as it is very easy for a tourist to convert it into an educational one or for that matter a work permit. Loopholes in the INS permit this. Why does not the INS change rules and track down all those students and ask them to report to their home country. These stiffer rules will go a long way in addressing the issue

I heard about a group that came real close in having US Sen John McCain lose an election. Since he is a strong supporter of unbounded Immigration labor. Perhaps we should examine this model for deal with elected officials. Their web site is www.clubforgrowth.org
