Recently in Several Publications such as ComputerWorld cited that Oracle was awarded a $95 Million IT Services Contract in a Sole Source None Compete Bid in California. Here they sold them more Oracle Database Licenses then they have state employees. The fallout is starting. The CIO for the State of California has been let go and the State's IT Department has been dismantled over this deal. In the past when Newt Ginrich went to Silicon Valley while dealing with Clinton's Impeachment he was blackmailed by the likes of Oracle, Sun, Cisco and Microsoft to Increase H1B Immigration labor because he had a lady on the side like Clinton! This was a catalyst for the recent increase in H1B Labor. After this occurred Businessweek wrote an article about an Indian Software Analyst working for Oracle for about $30K/Year. She got to work in a hot area of IT Technology and was able to branch off and start a multimillion dollar IT Business. She decided to help out India and Invested into their people and setup the revenue channels offshore from the USA. As we can see here the benefits of helping out Oracle get cheap labor has resulting in training a foreign labor force instead of our own people! As you can see from the behavior of Oracle with California's Contracting they have failed in their ethical responsiblities as an American Business. They failed to invest into the American Labor force and this lack of concern has then expanded into exploitation of American IT Business Contracts with no concern for the costs to the taxpayers who lost their incomes due to their actions. Yet they will be the ones who end up paying for Oracle's misdeeds.
